The Schönbrunn Palace was at first a hunting lodge built during the reign of Emperor Leopold I for his son, Prince Joseph. It was designed by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach. Later, it became the summer residence of the imperial family. The history of the site goes all the way back to the 14th century. The palace and its estate got their name from a spring discovered there. The palace was named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1996.

Our visitors loved our Schönbrunn Palace tours!

Educational & engaging tour!

I've been wanting to visit Vienna and the Schönbrunn Palace for a long time, and I finally did! I'm so glad I had a great tour guide. Definitely made the visit 100 times better! I loved seeing the rooms in the palace and the carriages, and I loved walking around the garden. I definitely recommend reserving some time for a walk in the gardens.

A good way to avoid a crowd

Our tour guide explained everything really well, and I learned so much I didn't know before, so this private tour was definitely worth it! Plus, it was just me and my husband, which was great because I just can't deal with large groups of people. It was really interesting to learn about the Habsburgs and Sisi. I've read a few things about them, so it was a special experience to see where they lived.

Great tour & convenient transportation

I'll admit I didn't know a lot about the palace before the tour, but now I know a lot, thanks to our guide. He was full of interesting stories and was professional. We chose this tour because of the transportation option and because I didn't want to waste time on public transport. It was on time, the driver was polite, and overall, the tour was organized well.
