The Schönbrunn Palace was at first a hunting lodge built during the reign of Emperor Leopold I for his son, Prince Joseph. It was designed by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach. A good way to avoid a crowd
Our tour guide explained everything really well, and I learned so much I didn't know before, so this private tour was definitely worth it! Plus, it was just me and my husband, which was great because I just can't deal with large groups of people. It was really interesting to learn about the Habsburgs and Sisi. I've read a few things about them, so it was a special experience to see where they lived.
